Ray and Jean Oostdyk hosted a Memorial Day picnic for the Tools. The kids stop from riding up and down their empty road for this photo. From left to right are Unidentified (perhaps a neighbor), Danny Andresen, Randy Oostdyk, Ronnie Cahill, Jeff Andresen, Mike Charles, Ray Oostdyk, Tiffany Cahill and Allison Oostdyk. | The kids weren't the only ones taking rides. Here Bill Charles is about to give Annelle Cahill a motorcycle ride. |

One of our favorite trips each year was a weekend at Village Dock Campgrounds in Franklinville, New Jersey. We usually did an outdoor concert Saturday evening, stay overnight, and then sing at the Sunday morning service. With our blue bus in the background, Danny Andresen and Tiffany Cahill sang a song together with the Tools. On the left is Barry Friedfeld. Back by the piano is Tiffany's brother Ronnie. He is probably standing next to their mother Annelle who would be playing the keyboard. Mostly blocked behind Danny is Bill Charles. Buff Andresen has the valve trombone, Nick Antonow is on the drums, and Ray Oostdyk and Dave Sisco are on the right. | We had some great picnics on the campgrounds. Going around the table from left to right are Annelle Cahill (standing), Allison Oostdyk, Jean Oostdyk, Tiffany Cahill, Ray Oostdyk Jr., Judy Andresen, Ronnie Cahill, Ray Oostdyk Sr. (mostly hidden), Dave Sisco and Nick Antonow. |

On August 22 the Tools sang at Tuscarora Inn in Mount Bethel, Pennsylvania. We also got to enjoy a lunch there. Going around the table from left to right are Judy andresen, Barry Friedfelt, Beverly Charles, Mike Charles, Bill Charles and Allison Oostdyk. | That year our drummer was Ed Hanft, who makes a face while warming up for the New Year's Eve Watchnight service at our home church, Clinton Baptist. |
